Angela Marie King is a veteran bookkeeping professional with over 30 years experience.  Angela incorporated her firm, Bookkeeping Etc. Professionals, in 2007 as the culmination of a business career marked by exemplary work and dedicated service, and after more than 7 years as an independent contractor.


Angela’s business career started in 1980 when she was first promoted from assembly line worker to inventory manager in a garment factory.  Angela left that position after 18 months, taking the position of Assistant Bookkeeper at Globe Silver Manufacturing, a position she maintained until the firm went out of business.  Angela then served 5 years as full-charge bookkeeper for the industrial design firm of Henry Dreyfuss Associates, followed by 10 years as bookkeeper for an event florist in New York City, and 7 years as Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager for a trucking firm at John F. Kennedy Airport.

As proprietor of Bookkeeping Etc., Angela serves a diversified client base. Angela attended Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY, and has owned and operated a day care center for three years.  She is a missionary at her church, serves as Church Treasurer and coordinator for the feeding ministry, and does event planning in her spare time.  The mother of two sons, and grandmother of 4, Angela lives in Plainfield, New Jersey, is a consummate bowler, and enjoys skydiving.
